“I met Peggy nearly 50 years ago. Our friendship had stayed strong through the years. We could talk so easily. We cut up and joke all the way. That led to the meeting of our husbands, Rick and Andy. They became great friends. Andy got Rick a job working with Sinatra. Sometimes they would invite us down to come see a show. We’d go get out hair done and find the fanciest cocktail dresses that we could find. We would have such fun those nights. We had a swimming pool and we’d have these big picnics on the weekends. We would eat until we couldn’t eat anymore. It would always be all of us with the kids. We’d never get baby sitters, unless it was for Sinatra. I remember Peggy would always be singing, and one night Andy said it was his turn to entertain us, so he did a farting contest. I don’t think any of us have laughed that much since.” -Evelyn D’Aurora

Would love to see my sister Diane… once again. I bumped into her in the hotel lobby one November many years ago on T-Giving day in Steubenville while visiting Aunt Clara and Uncle Jim and Ito.
