“Peggy is one of my closest friends. We go way back with so many stories. There are a lot of stories by the time you get to be our age. There was this time when me and George and Banjo and Peggy went out on the town in George’s car. Banjo goes to open the door for Peggy and the whole door falls right off in his hand and he’s yelling at George. We laughed so hard. Then there was this time with Peggy when she ran into a pole, it landed right on to a car. There was no damage, but somehow she ended up in night court. There was a lot of good times. We liked to go out on Saturday nights, go to the clubs. We all had so much fun.” – Rita DeMartin
